EFAR Films is a Content Development and Distribution Company that believes in the power of storytelling and its ability to entertain, enrich and inspire. EFAR Films is adept at leading film and OTT projects from inception to completion, concept development, scripting, casting and marketing. It aims to collaborate and partner with talent, platforms, production houses and studios to make pathbreaking Indian stories. 

We are currently working on a Web Series based on real life events with a leading OTT player. We are also leading a tripartite collaboration with an International studio and a leading Indian studio to make Motion Pictures with Award-winning Film Creators.

Kavita Sharma Gandhi

Founder and CEO

Kavita is a Creative Film Producer with 15+ years of experience in Media & Entertainment Industry. Prior to launching EFAR Films she has worked with organizations such as Viacom 18 as Director- International Syndication where she was responsible for Syndication & Licensing of TV and Film content owned by Viacom 18 Channels like Colors & MTV, to International Broadcasters, Distributors and Content Aggregators. She has also worked with Turner Broadcasting where she was part of the HBO leadership team. She started her career at Bennett, Coleman and Co. Ltd. (Times Group) and was part of the team that launched Zoom TV.

Kavita is a volunteer at AngelXpress Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that works with first generation learners. She’s also a marathoner.

Kavita holds an MBA in Marketing from Mumbai University.
