Megha Tata has been on the boards of IBDF (Indian Broadcasting & Digital Foundation) and IAA (International Advertising Association). She served as the Vice President of the International Advertising Association (IAA) India Chapter from 2016-2018 and as President of IAA – India Chapter (2020-2022). The second woman to hold that position. Currently she is the Immediate Past President of IAA. She is passionate about gender representation in media and advertising and has been leading an initiative on behalf of IAA called the IAA Voice of change, which talks about gender representation in content from 30 sec to 3 hours.

She brings expertise in management of businesses in the Media and Entertainment industry. Ability to overcome obstacles and capture opportunities, create and implement savvy marketing strategies has been her forte. An industry veteran, she leads multiple national as well as international industry forums and is an esteemed member of the National Media and Entertainment Committee of CII and FICCI-AVGC.

She has been recognized as ‘Next 30’ most powerful women to look out in 2010; and was also adjudged as one of India’s hottest young executives of the media industry in 2009 by Business Today. She has been regularly adjudged amongst the top 50 influential women in media, marketing and advertising. She has got the Women Leadership award by World Women Leadership Congress in 2014. Was judged amongst India’s top 100 important people in the industry by Digital Studio a leading magazine in Broadcasting and Production. Got awarded “Women of the Decade in Media” by the Women Economic Forum -2018. Has been featured as one of the Powerful Influencers of M&E industry and was also adjudged amongst Asia’s Most Inspirational Women in Leadership for 2022 . She is recognized for her strong leadership skills and excellence in training, development and mentoring of staff and customers.

In addition to being actively involved in industry initiatives, Megha is energized by engaging with young minds through guest lectures at leading educational institutes including IIT, IIM, ISB, UBS, and is passionately involved as a Volunteer with Isha Foundation – a non-profit organization started by Sadhguru.

In his illustrious career spanning three decades, he led some of the largest media conglomerates in the country. Raj started his career with Tata Economic Consultancy and worked at various news publications before joining STAR TV as a founding member in 1992. Starting as an Area Sales Manager, he spent 10 years at STAR TV and grew into the role of Executive Vice President; and was also a part of the Managing Committee. He then moved on to launch NDTV Media Pvt Ltd as its Chief Executive, helping redefine how news was consumed in the country. Before setting up House of Cheer Networks Pvt Ltd, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Viacom 18 Media Pvt Ltd, where he steered the company to great heights.

His unique prowess to pioneer new concepts and mentor people, make him one of the most respected professionals in the industry. An advocate of happiness, Raj derives his energy from people across all walks of life and believes in the strength of diversity.

Raj has won many awards and accolades. He was awarded the Media Person of the Year 2016 at the IAA Leadership Awards, by the International Advertising Association India Chapter and in the same year, was also awarded the first “Influencer of the Year Award” by Exchange for Media. In 2018, he received the ‘Global Champion Award’ at The International Advertising Association at Bucharest.  In addition, he has received the Society Achiever of the Year award for his contribution to Media & Branding, the Humanitarian Award by Amity International for his contribution towards social issues and the Giant International Award for his contribution to the Entertainment Industry.  He was recently inducted into the International Advertising Agency’s IAA HALL OF FAME.

Raj has been an active participant in many industry bodies. He was the President of the Advertising Club and the International Advertising Association India. He has served on the board of Media Research Users Council (MRUC) and The Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF).

The Economic Times named him the second most engaging CEO on social media. Apart from driving such an enormous business, this chief is passionate about food, travel & reading. Formerly the Chief Operating Officer of Viacom18 Motion Pictures, one of India’s largest motion pictures studios, Vikram is the name behind some of India’s most-loved films and series in the last few years. At Viacom18, Vikram built an enviable track record for the studio – from critically acclaimed box-office hits like Kahaani, Gangs of Wasseypur, Special 26, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Madras Cafe and Queen, to mass entertainers like OMG – Oh My God, Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Tanu Weds Manu, to name a few. 

Vikram, who has, previously, also headed the motion pictures business at Balaji Telefilms, set the bar even higher when he founded Abundantia Entertainment in 2013. 

Creating for both theatrical and streaming platforms, Abundantia Entertainment’s filmography boasts of critically acclaimed and commercially hit films like Baby, Airlift, Toilet – Ek Prem Katha, Shakuntala Devi, Sherni, Chhorii, Jalsa, Ram Setu and Sukhee. The company has an exciting slate of films in the pipeline, top-lined by Sarfira, directed by National Award winner Sudha Kongara, featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead, Chhorii 2, the sequel to the successful, genre-defining horror film, Chhorii and the remake of the critically acclaimed Malayalam film, Angamaly Diaries. In March 2024, Abundantia Entertainment also announced the first film in the slate of its partner company, Opening Image, a collaboration with the celebrated director, Suresh Triveni. The film, titled, Subedaar, will see superstar Anil Kapoor return to his original action avatar. 

Under Vikram’s leadership, Abundantia Entertainment is underway with an exciting development slate of films that includes book adaptations of bestsellers like Flawed – the Nirav Modi saga as well as films with talented directors like Jai Mehta (Lootere, Scam:1992), Bhav Dhulia (Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, The Freelancer) and Mayank Sharma (Breathe,Breathe: Into The Shadows). 

Driven by Vikram’s vision, Abundantia Entertainment was a pioneer creator in the streaming world in India with its first Amazon Original, ‘Breathe’ releasing to fabulous response in 2018. This was followed by its much-loved second season in 2020, Breathe: Into The Shadows, which also marked the digital debut of movie stars Abhishek Bachchan and Nithya Menen. The third season of Breathe: Into The Shadows was a huge hit globally upon its launch in 2022. Abundantia’s all-women-led ensemble, ‘Hush Hush’ brought yesteryear super stars Juhi Chawla and Ayesha Jhulka into the streaming world and released to rave reviews on Prime Video. There’s a diverse array of series in development that includes ‘The End’, marking the series debut of superstar Akshay Kumar, a multi-season crime drama, Daldal with Bhumi Pednekar in the lead and a high-profile, multi-season series with the award-winning director and showrunner Hansal Mehta. 

Prior to entering the Entertainment industry, Vikram has spent more than a decade building brands and businesses across leading companies such as The UB Group (spirits, airlines, sports), Tata Communications (retail internet) and SC Johnson – Draft FCB (FMCG). 

Vikram is passionate about Tennis, a sport that he competitively played at the National level and finds time for even now. An avid reader, business and biographies are his favorite genre. 

Vikram lives in Mumbai and is married to Roli. They have three children – Raania, Rihaana and Rajveer.
